Frank's last e-mail with a bit of history about this Tibetan Music Video.
by: Patricia

Dear Patricia,

Thank you for the kind words about "Highway To Lhasa."

My hope is that the song will serve as a catalyst for people to bond together in support of the Tibetan struggle.

For a little background, "Highway To Lhasa" was inspired by a documentary film about Estonia at the end days of the Soviet Union. In mass peaceful demonstrations, the Estonians, in violation of martial law, kept singing their beloved folk songs, and eventually broke the bonds of their oppression.
Please see "The Singing Revolution" trailer on You Tube:

Thank you again for your encouragement. I believe that in supporting this rightful cause we serve both the people of Tibet and a greater purpose of peace and justice in the world.

With warm regards,

Frank
