Oh yes, be careful how much you eat the first time! I learned the hard way. I ate tsampa in kham Tibet a few years ago when i stayed with an amazing nomad family. They used yak butter in their 'special nomads recipe' they said. It was so delicious so i ate too much and got a stomach ache afterwards!
They are incredibly hospitable up on the roof of the world and if they offer more food, you better take it or they might sic the enormous tibetan mastif on you!
